How to use Logo Carousel in WPBakery
Place a logo showcase you built with Logo Carousel into any WPBakery Page Builder page, using the Logo Carousel element.
WPBakery Page Builder has its own editor, so Logo Carousel's blocks don't appear in it directly. Instead, you save your showcase as a Saved Template (a reusable copy of a logo showcase you designed in the block editor) and add it with Logo Carousel's WPBakery element. It stays in sync: edit the template once and every WPBakery page that uses it updates.
You can do this in 2 steps
- Get a Saved Template readyTurn on the WPBakery integration and make sure you have a published template.
- Add it in WPBakeryAdd the Logo Carousel element in the Frontend Editor and pick the template.
Before you start
- Logo Carousel (free or Pro) and WPBakery Page Builder are both installed and active.
- The Saved Templates module is on. It is by default; see Modules.
- You have at least one published Saved Template. New to them? Create one first.
Part 1: Get a Saved Template ready
Step 1: Turn on the WPBakery integration
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Logo Carousel → Settings.
- Click Integrations in the left-hand menu.
- Make sure the WPBakery switch is on.
It's on by default, and it saves as soon as you flip it.

Step 2: Check your template
- Go to Logo Carousel → Getting Started and click the Saved Templates tab.
- Find the template you want to show. Only published templates appear in WPBakery.
- Optional: click its shortcode to copy it, for the shortcode route.

Part 2: Add it in WPBakery
Step 3: Open your page in the Frontend Editor
WPBakery has two editors. Use the Frontend Editor: it's the one that shows the showcase as you work.
- Go to Pages and open the page you want the showcase on (or create a new one).
- Click WPBakery Page Builder in the top toolbar, then click Frontend Editor.
Step 4: Add the Logo Carousel element
- Click the + (Add new element) at the top left.
- In the Add Element window, type Logo Carousel into the search box, or open the Logo Carousel tab.
- Click Logo Carousel. Its description reads "Display logos from a saved template".
Two Logo Carousel elements? Pick the one in the Logo Carousel tab
With Logo Carousel Pro you'll also see Logo Carousel Pro in the ShapedPlugin tab. That one is for showcases made the older way, under Manage Views. See Classic views in WPBakery.
Step 5: Pick your template and publish
- The element's settings window opens. Choose your template in the Saved Template dropdown.
- Click Save changes. The showcase appears on the page.
- Click Publish in the top bar (or Update on a page that's already live).
Need to change the template later? Hover the showcase and click the pencil icon on its toolbar to reopen the settings.
Prefer a shortcode?
You can also paste the template's shortcode into WPBakery's Text Block element:
- Copy the shortcode from the Saved Templates tab (Step 2).
- Add a Text Block element and paste the shortcode, for example
[lc_template id="123"]. - Save changes and publish.
Classic views in WPBakery Pro
If you still use showcases created under Logo Carousel → Manage Views, Pro adds a separate element, Logo Carousel Pro, in the ShapedPlugin tab of Add Element. Choose your view in its Shortcode: dropdown. The Integrations switch doesn't affect it. Learn more in the Classic Version section.
Good to know
- Use the Frontend Editor to see the showcase. The preview is built for the Frontend Editor, so that's where you see what visitors will see.
- WPBakery stores its own shortcode. If you peek at the page in code view, you'll see something like
[vc_sp_logo_carousel template_id="123"]. That's WPBakery's record of the element, and you never need to type it by hand. - Turning the switch off hides placed showcases too. If you turn off the WPBakery switch, elements already on your pages display nothing (no raw shortcode text shows). Turn it back on and they return.
- Template buttons open a new tab. Above the showcase, Edit This Template and Add New Template open the block editor in a new browser tab.
- Changes flow through. Edit the template in the block editor and every WPBakery page using it updates. Clear your page cache if the change doesn't show.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Logo Carousel isn't in Add Element | The WPBakery switch is off. | Turn it on (Step 1), then reload the editor. |
| The dropdown only shows "- Select Template -" | No published templates. | Publish a template on the Saved Templates tab. |
| "Please Select a Saved Template" on the page | No template chosen, or Save changes wasn't clicked. | Reopen the element, pick a template, and click Save changes. |
| A showcase that used to show is now blank | The WPBakery switch was turned off. | Turn it back on in Step 1. |
| "Enable the Saved Templates module…" | The Saved Templates module is off. | Turn it on in Modules. |
